Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Introduction
Kaja ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect when you use our website, contact us, or use our products and services, and how we use and protect that information.
Information we collect
- Contact: When you get in touch or ask us for a guided start, we collect your email address and any message you send.
- Usage and logs: When you visit our website or use our services, we may collect usage data, IP address, browser type, and similar technical information.
- Cookies and similar tech: We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve our website and services
- Notify you about product updates and early access when you’ve signed up
- Respond to your questions and support requests
- Analyze usage and improve our product and marketing
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed below, under contracts that require them to protect it, and when required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
Subprocessors
These are the third parties that process data on our behalf. We update this list before adding a new one.

Where your data is processed
The Kaja control plane and its database run in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in Germany (eu-frankfurt-1). Some subprocessors above operate outside the EU; where they do, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your own clusters are not included in this. Kaja deploys to infrastructure you own and control, wherever you run it. Your application data, your databases and your logs stay in your own clusters — we do not copy them to our control plane. What reaches us is configuration, metadata, and whatever you ask us to show you at the moment you ask for it, such as a log tail or a shell session.
Data retention and security
We retain your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@kaja.dev. We respond within 30 days. Deletion and export are handled by our team rather than from a button in the product today; we will tell you what we hold, and confirm when it is gone.
Data processing agreement
If you are processing personal data of your own users through Kaja, we will sign a data processing agreement with you. Request one at privacy@kaja.dev.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of our site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
